Into the New Year...

I know I'm 5 days late, but it's still the New Year, so, Happy New Year 2009! While others celebrate the New Year watching fireworks, me and my mates spent the New Year in campus, watching... Gossip Girl! Not exactly a typical way to kick off a brand new year...

I haven't updated recently due to the lack of internet access. I still haven't registered for the campus Wi-Fi service, so I'm pretty much at the mercy of either the slow internet in front of the library or the free internet at places such as McDonalds or Starbucks! Plus, I haven't gone back home yet (where I pretty much roam the net almost perpetually)! Today, I'm lucky enough to be able to use the internet for a while at the ITD department, so might as well I blog a bit while I'm at it...

First things first, I definitely am still blogging, despite not having internet access as often as before, at least until I finally am registered to use the campus Wi-Fi. No, the delay between posts is not because I got hit by a car or because I have seen the light and finally became a slave to the library! I'm all well, alive and kicking!

Aside from the aforementioned lack of internet access, another reason for the delay between posts is because I'm spending more time focusing on other matters at the moment. I've my academics to attend to, and various projects, both personal and public to work on. You know, my life isn't exactly tied to or bound to the internet! Life is really beautiful, and there are many fine things to appreciate indeed.

And that would give me A LOT to blog about later on!

Oh yea, and for this New Year, I'd like to say, thanks a lot for taking the time and effort to visit this blog, and kudos to all those who commented! I'm really excited about this year and what may come up later in both my life and post, as I don't know for myself what to expect! But whatever lies ahead, I'm more than ready for it!

And just for all the readers of this blog, I actually have something very special for all of you! Unfortunately, it's in my desktop at home, so you're going to have to wait until I get back home!

One of the things I'm really forward to this year is the completion of this personal project which has literally taken forever. I've always held back the completion of the project, because I used to feel rather insecure about my own works. But a number of incidents towards the end of last year really encouraged me to give this project one last shot, just for the fun of it. Still not telling what exactly is it or even the name (heck, the project has went through countless name changes ever since I started it years ago!), but I think I will, quite soon. How soon, I don't know!

Looks like I'll be signing off soon, as I think there are other people in this room who needs to use the internet more than I do... So, until next time!
